Darren and Vimal first met at Agilisys, the public sector technology company. Vimal was a consultant, writing business cases and transformation strategies for councils. Darren was in bid leadership, helping the business win public sector contracts.
Their paths crossed again a few years ago. Over lunch, Darren described a service he was running for clients: finding the public sector tenders worth bidding for, and managing it all in spreadsheets. It worked, but every step was manual. Vimal had felt the same pain from the other side, tendering into the public sector himself.
They decided to build the best version of that service. They mapped every pain point in the journey, from spotting the tender to contacting the buyer to writing the response, and solved them one by one. The hardest problem came first: tenders are published in hundreds of places, so RevnIQ brings them into one list. On top of that they built the Fit Score, which ranks every tender with a written reason it fits; Contact Outreach, which drafts a first email to the buyer; and response drafting from your own past bids.
Since then they've refined RevnIQ with its early adopters. The core product is complete, and the work now is making it better.
